How to Use a Brick Making Machine: Step-by-Step Guide
Preparation Prior to Operation
Location & Power Check
(1) For fixed models: Check the factory floor leveling and load (≥ 2 ton/m²) .
(2) For mobile models: On flat land and close to the construction site for use (especially for the one used by Li Hongmei).
(3) Three phase power (380V) connection and check for leaks in circuit.
Raw Material Preparation
(1) Gather the essential materials (cement, sand, aggregates) and optional recycled materials (maximum 30% recycled materials such as construction waste, tailings, or gangue, that is the setup of Zhang Jianguo and Chen Liwei).
(2) Sift the raw materials to remove any particles larger than 5mm to prevent the particles from getting stuck in the feeding system. Equipment Check
(1) Inspect the hydraulic system for proper oil levels, check that the pressing mold is tight, and check the conveyor belt for cleanliness.
(2) Check that the touch screen (for intelligent models) or the servo motor control system (for precision models) is powered on properly. 2. Mixing and Blending of Raw Materials
Set the Ratio
Use a touch screen to input the desired ratio for the materials (e.g., cement:sand:aggregate - 1:3:5). For recycled materials, follow the machine's recommendations for maximum percentage (typically a maximum of 30% recycled material is acceptable in most machines).
Stir the materials until uniform
Pour the raw materials in the mixer, add water (and water-cement ratio, 0.35-0.4) and stir for approximately 3-5 minutes until the mixture is uniform and will not drip—this is important for the strength of the bricks (this is important for Li Hongmei's needs in the construction site).
Debugging of the Equipments
Set the parameters
The parameters can be set through the touch screen based on input from the operator: brick type (FW:Standard brick,582: Dutch brick,537: permeable brick, size (240×115×53 mm), pressing pressure (15-20MPa), output speed (produced based maximum output for the machine and appropriate output speed to day - maximum contracted output is 8000 pcs.
